had a 20hour flight from Kastrup to Changi yesterday. and finally touched down at 2.10pm this afternoon, local time.
i wish i can spend another semester in Sweden, i wish i can travel with my friends to Italy and France again, i wish.....

2011 has been a fruitful and adventurous year for me. i've made lots of international friends during exchange in lund university, sweden. and at the same time, got to know more ntu and nus people this year.

in conclusion, i really enjoyed 2011, and i hope 2012 will be even better for me!

here's my new year's resolutions:
1. maintain CGPA at 4.1 (or at least second upper class)
2. learn driving
3. make more friends in ntu
4. catch up with old friends
5. be more independent (since i've been through student exchange, i guess i AM more or less independent now)
6. maintain good relationships with family
7. find mr. right

that should be all for now. hope i can achieve these resolutions by the end of 2012. :D

end of my europe tour

i've just came back to malmo yesterday morning. it has been a great experience to travel with vanessa, and her 3 friends (Hui Dong, Matthew and Xian Ming). i was kinda worried that i wun be able to clique well with guys i dunno, but it turned out that the 3 of them are really good! especially HD and Matt, they are so hilarious!
i wish i can travel with people like them too! and van is sooooo sweetttt! she woke up early on christmas day and wrote us each a christmas card! i'm so glad that i've made a right decision to travel with them. sadly, i left halfway (cos i've to clean up my apt in malmo), i really do wish to join them in prague as well. haix.. wells, i can always catch up with them back in ntu. :D
anw, i met up with my friends (from lund) on christmas eve and christmas day itself. we had dinner tgt, and they even bumped into van, etc in prague last night. rahh i wish i could be there too. :(
there're only 6 days left for me to return to singapore. i dunno how to describe my feelings now, it's rather complicated. i definitely lookin forward to meet my friends in sg, yet i super 舍不得 my new friends in sweden. i feel so relaxed and blessed whenever they are around.
hope all of us will keep in touch and visit each other one day...

had farewell cum christmas party last night at calvin's place.
the party was great, the food were delicious, the people are awesome. i wish i can stay longer in sweden, with my awesome friends.
kathy, nat, bonnie and karen are so sweet. they wrote us each a personal letter, and i'm sure i'll miss them loads when i'm back in SG. gosh, actually i'm alr started to miss them now. :(
jessika and adrian gonna write me a personal letter too, i feel so blessed to have them in my life. i've learnt alot from their culture, as well as how to mingle around europeans. haha. i really do love them!
e party ended at 2am last night, and we (jessika, kevin and bernard) only reached home at 4am. and i have to catch a plane later at 3.20pm. which marks e beginning of another traveling session in europe. and i cant wait to see vanessa later too!
anyways, i'll definitely come back to sweden again in the future, and visit my new friends around the world. having international friends is a great experience!
oh i've volunteered myself for e incoming exchange student attachment thingy, altho i'm not sure if there's such a program existing in NTU. but dawn said she'd forward my email to e international desk! i do hope to become a mentor (to those international students), hopefully swedes, or dutch, or hk, or german or japanese. hahaha. i love them alot. :D

i've just read one of my old friend's blog, and his entries sort of made me feel like i've wasted more than 4 years on someone who's already gone. and not going to come back.

time to move on. it's silly to stuck at one point in life and not trying to explore other wonderful things around me right now, and in the future.

i guess my personality changed cos of the one who's alr gone, and i hate myself for being such a coward. i've lost lotsa opportunities in the past few years, and i'm not gonna to repeat the history again.

exchange life has brought my old self back, although not 100%, but at least i can feel part of the old me is alive now. i'm not e gal who doesn't like to mingle with new people, new friends. i am supposed to be the girl who socialize a lot and loves making new friends. i enjoy being the center of attention, and i enjoy entertaining friends around me and cracking lame jokes which no one understands for the first few seconds.

i'm not sure if my old self will return anytime soon, but one thing for sure, i'm not gonna linger at the same spot, over the same person, and haunted by old memories.

i can do it!

i realised that i haven been bloggin for nearly half a year! this shld be a sign of how 'hardworkin' i am durin school terms. haha.

anw i've jus read thru e previous post on e new yr resolution, it happened that most, if not all of my wishes came thru alr. my cgpa for yr2 is up to expectations; gotten my exchange place in lund university, sweden; made some new frens (binz, adele, val, etc) last sem! it seems lyk 2011 is a GOOD YEAR for me huh! hahaha. hope my good luck will stay on for e nxt couple of years ahead.

sometimes grades really don't reflect your ability. and i shld always expect e unexpected. lols. i tot i wun score well for 205 n 215, but e grades surprised me. and i tot i'll get a or a- for 201 but nah, i got b. :( but overall, gpa is not too bad.
conclusion: i'm NOT a theory person, math is still my strength.
decisions made: i'll take stats mod for my fyp. which i'm kinda confident in scoring well (hopefully).
target: second upper class honors. (first class is quite impossible at e time)
new year resolutions:
1. do well in yr2 sem2. keep up cgpa at 4
2. student exchange in L.A/HK/Canada

happy times always pass so fast! last night was just lyk a dream and i dun wanna wake up from it! had lotsa fun w my beloved GFS! they made me feel sooooo touched and loved!
i would definitely remember everyth we did last night.

i'm just damn relieved to have a great bunch of besties who always stand by my side whenever i feel upset. i've made e right decision to have them as really good good friends. and i will never ever forget our long-lasting friendship!

university has all sorts of people of different backgrounds. and meanings are really subjective. what you've said have different interpretations for everyone.
if you can't fit into the jigsaw puzzle, don't force yourself to become the 'right' piece to fit in. afterall human are deceptive.
how silly i am to treat new friends as my real friends so easily...
i'm just plain stupid to lend them my revision notes before exams, or help them in their studies, or give them tuition assignment. and now, i ended up being the 'inconsiderate' one to them.
life is never fair, and i shall be reminded to never ever treat people so nicely, or to help them unconditionally. sometimes these might lead to negative impacts.
time for me to do some surface work in uni. maybe being alone is not such a bad choice afterall.

finals comin in 3 weeks time! and it would mark e end of my first year of uni life. i'm so glad to have known a bunch of great ppl to hang out with and study tgt! i simply love my uni life!!

got back few CA results for my cores. A-!! (but why is it SO hard to get an A or A+?!) okay i shant whine here. i guess i shld be satisfied w my grades for now. e only disappointin grade so far is my HW111 assignment 1! DAMN IT! C+!! cos chen sao and i misread e qn!! HAIZ... no more A for hw111 alr. even thou we've did kinda good for assignment 3 (credit goes to rain, poodle, hss and kit!). hopefully my resume goes well. pls, let me secure a B+ for 111!

this mornin i've e sudden urge to have my very own house! my perfect hse w a golden retriever! hahaha. i'm kinda crazy over golden retrievers since j1. simply love them! and i'm so wanna design my own hse. bei, maybe we shall work on it now! HAHAHAHA!!

i just happened to come across this super interesting ONLINE THEATERS SHOWING 'I'M HERE' last night. it's a short film by SPIKE JONZE.
all u have to do is to go to the box office here and get a ticket! only limited quantities for each showing so this is NO JOKE! it's lyk a live movie screening experience at home!

when u go to the BOX OFFICE u are greeted with the showings and your chance to catch the next screening! there's a bunch of fun stuffs u can play arnd w when u're waiting. :))

oh ya. i have to mention this here. the theatre will be FULL........ONLINE if u dont HURRY to catch it! AND u have to be AT LEAST 18 to watch it! (i swear there's NO explicit scenes in the movie!)

and u wont be disappointed by this pretty slick move from VODKA and SPIKE JONZE!

phew.. finally finished my resume. it's a tough assignment nia. 35% of my hw111 final grade, so i really have to write it well!

e past weeks had been hectic. sat for two mid-terms and chiong-ed another two assignments and an individual presentation! i tink its time for me to rest for awhile. though i stil have another presentation for 204. haix.. one relieving thing is that i secured an A- for my 202 quiz! so happy! hopefully i can hit 4.0 this sem..

malay lesson is gettin interestin. my classmates are rather entertainin. hahahas. i wun s/u it for sure alr. i want to ace it! i shall start revising malay now! A+ here i come!! pls dun run away from me!! hahaha...

i'm back bloggin again!

e upcomin weeks will be super hectic for me. there're lotsa readings, yog trngs, tuitions, etc.. seriously i dun tink i have time to complete all those stuffs. perhaps i shld cut down e time spent on pplive and fb from now on..

malay classes are gettin rigorous! tonnes of new vocabs bombarding me every week! and i have to memorise all those words within days, so that i can answer cikgu's qns every lesson. haix... i'm darn stressed over malay class nowadays. i tink i may s/u it eventually. rahh! urhhhggg.. no i shant give up.. it's a chance for me to score A this sem. lookin at all e other core mods, i feel helpless. especially 204, it sucks alot. i simply hate to study culture! but anw, i nid to ace it as well. semoga saya berjaya...

i found hw111 v entertainin. i lyk my tutor alot. she made e class so interestin la.. plus i'm in e same class as rain, hss, chen sao and ah kit! it's one of my most anticipated tutorials this year! hahaha.

i'm rottin at home now. kinda bored.. hope afternoon will come faster so that i can meet up w dede!! AVATAR!! finally managed t book tix online cos tix are sellin out darn fast!!!

i'm feelin kinda pek chek lately. so many stuffs gg on this month and i feel lyk tearin myself apart. haix..

have been plannin class gatherin and this makes me rather depressed. most of e class guys cant cfm whether they're comin for e gatherin on fri. and denise's mum is rushin her to settle all these stuffs by tmr. which means i nid t ask e guys to cfm their attendence asap. YET many of them stil cant make up their mind and remained 'maybe' status. URGGGHHH!!! its drivin me nuts. i guess i wun be plannin another class gatherin again if this one fails. or maybe we shld jus have a gals gatherin instead. but i THOUGHT we shld always have a class gatherin at least once a year; i THOUGHT e guys'll be more matured when they entered army; i THOUGHT 402 ppl are united; i THOUGHT......

okay i admit my blog's kinda dead since e start of uni life...

life's hectic. with assignments, tutorial and exams gg on and on everyday. and my first sem in uni is comin to an end. kinda she bu de cos i'm not sure if i can be in e same class w my frens nxt sem. :( i love my uni clique!! chen sao, hss, kit, xiao zhi, liang tai, 'sister', etc..

i was readin my 102 notes, and i'm kinda stuck on e 'formal rationality'. dun really understand its meanin. sian. and i've got my last paper on tue! finally can go out and relax! pheww... budden think back of my past few papers, i tink i did badly. it sux. i dunno how to do mb101 structured qns, and i gave up on e very first question for hs101 as well. wth is 'sociological imagination'?! i've got NO idea, seriously. i crapped thru e whole qn and its lyk 40% of e whole paper. siao alr. dead..

OMG SEM EXAMS COMIN IN 4 DAYS AND I'M STILL HALFWAY THRU REVISION!

shyt. i've been tellin myself t focus BUT fb makes me damn distracted!! I SHLD QUIT FB UNTIL E END OF THE EXAMS! LKY used e word 'freak' to describe a general election back in e 80s, and now i shall use 'freak' t describe e final exams.

anw i'm readin my MB101 textbook now. its lyk i still left almost a thousand pages to go. SIAN! whyy ntu cram BOTH management AND financial accountin in ONE SEM???!!! AND e exam is close-book! WTH! why cant they jus teach financial acc ONLY and make e exam open-book, jus lyk NUS?? financial acc alone is drivin me nuts alr. heng management is relatively easy as compared t it.

on a lighter note, i'm so glad that hs102 exam's on dec 1, which means i can 'neglect' it at least for now. 102 will be e KILLER paper for me! i'm playin e 'spot-e-topic' game for e exams. lols. cos ALOT OF TOPICS TAUGHT IN THIS SEM! i shall chiong all e readings after 101. uni is DEFINITELY NOT lyk wad i've thot last time in jc. =((

oh ya. last nite a cat came to my room! i think its name is sam or sth. still has another called charlie. lols. i heard from e seniors that they often appear in our hall. lols. kinda cute la.. hahas.

our seniors visited us last nite as well. first time socialise w them. they're friendly. =) and they intro us t e rest of e freshies. i tink hall life's gettin beta? supposed t have dinner w them todae. she told us its arnd 6 or 7pm. zoey n i were sorta waitn for them t call us. but till 7pm still no one knock our door. so we decided t go dwn da pao dinner up. and THEN when we came back from can 11, lester they all were standin outside comm hall. and they were lyk 'y u gals da pao again and nvr join us for dinner?' dots. i dun see my neighbours and other freshies w them leh. so we were lyk 'okay. nxt time.' lols. i guess nxt time shld really join them for dinner. if not ppl will thnk we anti-social. =(

had my curl orientation last fri NIGHT! went out ard 11PM and caught e first train back home e nxt day mornin. was kinda exhausted after e 'amazing race' at dhoby area. WALKED from plaza sing to smu, den to fountain of wealth, den walked back to smu again, and to fort cannin. DARN TIRIN! BUTBUTBUT!!! it's FUN! gettin to noe ppl arnd. hahas. my portfolio got hall pageant lo! she's really not bad lookin nia. from vj de. hahas. anw made friends w most of my team ppl. =D

yj asy and i WALKED from SUBWAY ALL E WAY BACK TO HALL! it's darn tirin can! i was lyk sweatin lyk siao when i reached my hall. SERIOUSLY, I HATE CLIMBING 'MOUTAINS' IN NTU! i dun tink i nid to work out durin weekends alr. i'm lyk havin excercises everyday!

we saw this cute and adorable cat at hall 14. it's face is literally ROUND! and we found out that there's actually this animal welfare club gg on in ntu. where ppl jus have to feed these stray cats at nite.

tutorials are gettin interestin nowadays. mayb i've made quite a number of frens ba. lotsa of projects have to be done this sem. and tutorials.

OMG I'M SO TIRED NOW AND I CANT SLEEP YET! SIAN! I'M ALONE IN E HALL NOW! my roomie went home this afternoon, cos she dun have classes tmr! RAHH! I WANT TO GO HOME TOO! I MISS MY AIR-CON!!

hostel room was super stuffy last nite. didnt manage to slp well cos it's so darn HOT! even at nite k! WT! I WAN AIR-CON!

anw jus now went to hall 14 to have dinner w yj and asy and van. made 2 new frens. 1 from biz and another from cbc. they're really friendly. and i'm thinkin of joinin welfare club tgt w yj and jiali. =)

yj and van pei-ed me 'home' after dat. we WALKED back k! from hall 14 to hall 10. anw it's jus 1 stop away. hahas.

zoey and i actually spent almost an hour or so doin some simple clean-ups. BUT it still seems FILTHY! and it smells BAD! and i bot e lavender smell air refresher this afternoon! hahahas. i shall spray e ENTIRE ROOM tmr when i go dwn. =) we didnt even have the time t mop e floor and wipe those windows which are lyk so er xin la! and e curtain. dunno if e skl got wash for us or not. haix..

went back to ntu todae. with empty stomach.

dun really intent t go dwn at first de. budden have to collect my matric card and concession card this afternoon. which SUPPOSED to be open from 1pm till 5pm.

charlotte's stil in hall camp, so i'm a LONER todae. travelled all e way to ntu ALONE! can u believe it?! almost 2hr-long journey all by my self! i'd freak out if there's a second time. lols. i HATE to travel alone. =(

anw charlotte intro-ed me her fren called jiayi. wanted t meet up w her in LKC LT de. but i made 2 other new frens on my way there. =D very friendly ppl. pity dat one of them is from econs and another from eee. different course nia. if not i sure can be gd fren w mei xuan! cos both of us wore mickey mouse tee and we detest library! LOL! we have so many similarities la. and she's draggin her eee fren t accompany her t e hss openin ceremony. jus lyk dat time i dragged bei. HAHAHA! and and and she didnt go for e hss camp or anyth JUS LYK ME! rahhh!! why is she in econs! HAIX...

back t e story now. 3 of us went dwn t LKC LT and we were late. e seniors there helped us t register and told us there'd be a talk for each division at 3pm. only then we can collect our matric card. darn it la! i travelled all e way dwn and u told me cant get e card? e prob is e skl website stated e collection of card is from 1pm-5pm tis afternoon! so we jus went home lyk dat. lols. w/o gettin e card or anyth. a lecturer told us can actually collect it when skl opens. lol.

NTU's staircases are darn LONG CAN! expecially e one leadin t e students service centre. walk till my legs broke la. and we actually walked back n forth 4 times! cos we got lost there. LOLS. and we kept bumpin into this angmo lecturer! HAHAHA! he's really v farnie. =D I LOVE HIM MAN!!

OMGOSH! i'm darn malu jus now!

my mum told me abt some suspicious lookin malay man loiterin ard our block recently. and told me not t take e lift w strangers. so when i entered e lift jus now, a guy stepped into it too!! I TOT HE'S E SO-CALLED-MALAY-GUY LA! and i LITERALLY JUMPED! OMGOSH! darn malu! turns out he's aunt mabel's son!! RAHH! V MALU! i tink he wanted t luff de lo. guess wad? we actually took e same train back and walked t home 'tgt'. he's rite behind me. AND I DIDNT EVEN REALISED IT! AND I TOT HE LOOKS LYK MR.FRUIT TART!!! LOL! i've nvr seen him for donkey years! i tink last time i went out w his family is lyk 9 yrs ago? lols.

YEAH!! my blogger FINALLY started functioning well now. at least e uploadin icons are BACK!

anw matriculated online yst. e matriculation part is easy and fast. jus one click and everyth's settled. e more troublesome part is dat i hav to select one more module. cos we nid to complete at least 5 modules in sem 1. and i only assigned 4 which are fixed. and i tried t search thru all e time slots of acc and have to make sure all e time tables and exam dates for e 5 modules do not clash. dat's darn tedious. when i finally found e rite time slot and tried to add course, e thing said cant add e one i chose. WT! only den i found out from charlotte dat e addin of course opens on 11 aug. LOL! scare me la! tot i cant take acc which's lyk so impossible. anw i've decided t take acc as my minor. =)

seems dat i dun have lessons on monday! but may hav acc if i applied successfully. i'm SO happy dat my earliest lesson only starts at 9.30am! which means there's no nid for me t wake up super early lyk last time. hahas. and on average, only 3 or 4hrs of lessons! shiok ehh!! this's definitely e gd part of uni life. =D alot of my course-mates start floodin my inbox. cos they wan t swap lessons. lols.

had health check up w van this morning. made friend w her 2 frens.. hahas. we were havin some interestin conversation on e e topic: how t collect _ _ _ _ _ sample w/o touchin ur body parts or wadsoever. hahs. and we were luffin at those cups n indicators they gave us. lols.

I SHRANK!!! i tink their height measurement machine got prob lo! cos i not only shrank by 1cm or wad, its whole darn 3cm k! i tink e thing actually push my head dwn while measurin.. sianz.

woke up SUPER EARLY todae! its lyk e first time dat i nid t wake up so early since A's. van and i took bus t ntu. really LONG journey. i tink it took us ard 2hr20min to reach e skl. so we decided t take mrt home. journey is shorter. took me 1hr40min t reach home. =)

i went for ntu and nus open hse last weekend. ntu is lyk so much more lively dan nus i tink. or maybe cos of e blue-eye-angmoh-student from ntu talked to me. hahas..

i'm gonna highlight my hair nxt week! i've jus asked e hairdresser n she told me she'll only charge me 50 bucks since she sort of know me.. hahas.. i tot highlightin my hair will cost ard 100 bucks la!

anw huiyi n i told our boss raymond dat we're quittin e job nxt mth.. but he kept persuadin us to stay on. cos they're still okay w our performance and its kinda hard for them t look for new ppl and train them all over again. raymond even offered to drive us home all e way from toa payoh to hougang! truthfully, i've decided to quit mid apr but after wad raymond told us, and wad he did, i tink i shall jus try to stay on for another couple of weeks. until end of may. at least i'll still have income. i dunno eh. haix... v luan leh..

finally A's results are out. i'm not v satisfied w my grades especially e big ugly D for my phy.. however i tot i'd get S or U for it cos phy is always my weakest link. anw overall grades shd be okay. but jus cos of e irritatin D, i dun tink i can get into nus or ntu business skl anymore. so i'm considerin fass and computin in nus, or mayb in ntu too..

however it's been tough to choose a course dat i lyk, i dun even noe wad i wan to be in the near future. haix.. hope i can really decide on e course i wan to enter after e open hses this weekend.

yst was valentines day. a fully packed day for me.

i went to suntec w bei and mh for e ntu talk early in the mornin, i guess accountancy and sciology are in hot demand cos e WHOLE theatre is filled w students.. haix. this means dat e probability of me gettin into these courses have reduced tremendously. communication studies is rather competitive too. and e lecturer even told us of the 150 students there, only 25 are guys, the rest all gals! omg! e proportion is super un-balanced la! anws e courses i wan to get into are acc and bus, comm studies and mayb sciology. my last choice wld be nie.. since bein a teacher sounds not as bad..

phew... finally i have e time to slack at home and update my blog. have been busy workin for e past few days. and i realised dat bein a telemarketer is a tough job. u have to deal w all sorts of strangers.

jus wanna share w u guys abt this thing i'd encountered last nite. i called a 36-yr-old guy and told him dat i'm callin from manulife. guess wad this guy replied? he actually asked me, 'manulife? 可以吃的吗?' LOLs! and he said dat he always tot dat it's some restaurant. i almost burst out luffin la! super cute de leh. hahas. den there's this guy told me he was once a telemarketer before, so he'd like to help me secure an appointment. hahahas.. seriously, these 30 plus yr old guys dun sound lyk their age eh. they sound more lyk 20 plus young man. lols. and surprisingly dat majority of them are kinda gentleman. they didnt slam dwn e phone.. =)

HELLO 2009!

i've enjoyed alot durin e post-a-level-period. parties, outings, gatherings, etc. it's great to meet up w old frens, to catch up w each others' life.. hahas.

i was countin down at vincent's hse w 402 ppl.. dede and i were e only 2 gals there. it was kinda fun though. seems lyk i hav magical hands. lols. cos i almost 'spoilt' vincent's new wii controllers. LOLs. after dat played e game we played at dede's hse last time. weiming, chang hoe and i were in e same grp. we were lyk stuck at e green spot for hours. lols. ch kept givin up on e puppet thingy.. lols. but dede and vincent oso got stucked. went clubbin w baby leon ard 12.30am. sry i dozed off in ur car on e way back.

anyw todae is a tirin day. went to skl for gp mock early in e mornin.. lyk hav to wake up at 6am? lols.. had 3 hrs of mock plus essay analysis.. waited for another 3 hrs after e mock n had gp counsultation. i was so darn tired in e afternoon la. totally cant concentrate. heng my essay is still okay.

met laopo after consultation n we collected JAY's cd tgt!! wakaka.. so shiok! e cover was nice. we bot e 'tie he zhen cang ban'. hahas.

den laopo went my hse n mug tgt, n of cos we listened to jay's new songs! hahas.. v nice too. quite surprised of this album. it's kinda diff from his previous productions.
